Dass ich Dan Bryk erst fünf Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung seiner EP-Platte „Discount Store“ entdeckt habe, grenzt an ein Wunder. Denn der in Mississauga (Southern Ontario, Kanada) geborene Singer-Songwriter ist mittlerweile nicht nur über die freie Musikplattform Jamendo hinaus bekannt geworden sondern hat sogar einen Eintrag in der englischsprachigen Wikipedia erhalten.
Zusammen mit Josh Hicks (Schlagzeug), Maury Lafoy (Bass), Kurt Swinghammer, Chris Staig und Jim Brantley (alle Gitarre) hat sich Bryk eine Band aufgebaut.
Der Kanadier lebt momentan in Dar Es Salaam (Tansania). Seine bisher letzte Veröffentlichung ist ein Live-Album aus dem Frühjahr 2012.
