Lyrics / Songtext

I’ve got a cup of that good old stuff
Cook it on the kettle and watch it glow
Goes down to my stomach with a real quick blow
Share it in a cup with the friends you know
I’ve got a love for you in the morning
Goes to my head and starts real slow
Swallows me up and eats me whole
A love for the cup is all I know

Mh mh uh uh
Mh mh uh uh uh

Coffee in Tokyo
I’m so low
Smoking on the front porch
And tired of the long run
Coffee in Tokyo
I’m so low
Smoking on the front porch
And tired of the long run

Mh uh uh ha
Mh uh uh hhhaaa
Mh uh mh

Uaahh uha??
Uahhh uha??

I’v been looking for another fix
Honey oh I love you but you’re getting cold
Fresh from the roast is better than old
We’ve been together since a little past twelve

Mh uh uh ha
Mh uh uh hhhaaa
Mh uh mh

Coffee in Tokyo
I’m so low
Smoking on the front porch
And tired of the long run
Coffee in Tokyo
I’m so low
Smoking on the front porch
And tired of the long run
